´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live's Kicking Off With Colin Murray and the ever popular points-for-punditry sporting panel show Fighting Talk will broadcast live from the Concourse Suite at the NEC Birmingham on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 December. The two live audience shows will form part of this year's ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport Personality Of The Year event.

Kicking Off With Colin Murray, on Friday 17 December from 7-10pm, will see Colin joined by regulars Pat Nevin and Perry Groves plus special guests for this special festive programme. The team will preview the weekend's biggest sporting action and look ahead to this year's ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sports Personality Of The Year Awards, which take place on Sunday 19 December at Birmingham's LG Arena.

On Saturday 18 December, 11am-12noon, Colin will present Fighting Talk, again broadcasting from the Concourse Suite at the NEC Birmingham, in front of a live audience. Colin acts as judge and jury as a panel of invited guests, including former rugby union player Austin Healey and Fighting Talk regular Steve Bunce, battle it out over topical sporting issues.

Colin Murray said: "Taking Kicking Off to Birmingham for the first time is exciting as we have four Premier League teams alone to target for special guests. As for Fighting Talk, we have four sports personalities on every Saturday, although not many of them have won anything! Come along and see us, tickets are free – it might be raining outside, why would you take that chance?"

On Sunday 19 December, 7-10pm, Radio 5 Live will broadcast live from the LG Arena in Birmingham for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sports Personality Of The Year 2010. John Inverdale will be backstage with Clare Balding, Steve Parry and Steve Bunce alongside a variety of special guests, as the winners from this year's awards ceremony are announced.
