Tony Livesey returns with Late Kick Off in the North West

Tony Livesey is back with a new series of the Football League magazine show, Late Kick Off, which returns to ´óÏó´«Ã½ One later this month.

The programme starts on Monday 17 January, at the new time of 11.05pm – making Monday nights "access all areas" to the week's top news stories, backroom reports, interviews, discussion and match analysis.

More than just a highlights programme, Late Kick Off is the only TV Football League show that gets to grips with what the fans are talking about and what matters to them most. And it will be there following all the ups and downs – both on and off the pitch – as the Football League season draws to its dramatic climax.

Tony, a well-known face on the regional nightly news programme North West Tonight and a presenter on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live, will continue to bring his own sporting expertise to the programme while guests and pundits from the world of football promise to kick off some lively debates on the week's hottest topics.

Each weekend Late Kick Off's cameras and reporters will be at the matches that matter across all three divisions bringing all the action, reaction and behind-the-scenes footage from all the region's clubs. There'll be Football League chat with special studio guests and a brand new feature 'Double Trouble' with two players "dishing the dressing room dirt" on their team mates.

Join Tony for the first programme and an in-depth look at the new regimes at Championship clubs Burnley and Preston North End.

Fans won't have to miss a thing as the programmes will also be on .

Tony says: "It's great to be back and the second series looks set to be stronger than ever. With all the latest goal action and high quality sports journalism, fans will get to see what is really going on behind the scenes at their local club."

Late Kick Off complements the success of the network highlights programme The Football League Show along with live coverage of 10 League matches during the season and the Carling Cup semi-finals and final.

Along with action from the Premier League on Match Of The Day and ´óÏó´«Ã½Â Radio 5 Live, the ´óÏó´«Ã½ provides sports fans with access to all the goals and all the action, the length and breadth of the country.

Notes to Editors

Late Kick Off will cover all the Football League teams across the North West including Preston North End, Burnley, Accrington Stanley, Morecambe, Tranmere, Oldham Athletic, Stockport County, Macclesfield, Bury, Rochdale and Crewe Alexandra.
