With the referendum asking the people of Wales if the National Assembly for Wales should have more law-making powers coming up in a few week's time, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Cymru Wales is giving voters the chance to quiz some of those directly involved in the Yes and No campaigns in the first of a number of special televised debates on Monday 14 February.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Wales political editor Betsan Powys joins a specially invited audience of voters to put their questions to the campaigners in Referendum 2011 – The Powers Debates on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One Wales from 10.35pm. The debate is being held at the Department of International Politics at Aberystwyth University and the panel will include leading figures from both sides of the argument.
This is the first of two Referendum 2011 – The Powers Debates in the run up to the referendum on law-making powers of the National Assembly for Wales vote on Thursday 3 March, and the second televised debate will be on Monday 28 February on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One Wales.
There will also be a special edition of the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Wales topical debate programme chaired by Dewi Llwyd and broadcast on S4C, Pawb a'i Farn focusing on the issues around the referendum. The special referendum edition of Pawb a'i Farn from Holyhead Leisure Centre will be broadcast on S4C on Wednesday 23 February at 9pm.
