Daisy Moore, currently Celebrity Executive on The X Factor, is to join the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s in-house Entertainment department as Talent Executive, Katie Taylor, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Head of Entertainment and Events, announced today. Daisy will work on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing as well as other celebrity-based projects for the department.
Prior to her stint at talkbackThames on The X Factor, Daisy worked as the Casting Executive on the last series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! which was the most watched series of the show in six years for ITV Studios.
As well as I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! in her seven years at ITV she was Casting Executive on Montecarlo Or Bust, The Door and Marco's Kitchen Burn Out (all ITV1). She has had various producer credits on shows including ITV1's Love Island and Hell's Kitchen.
Daisy started her career as a radio producer before moving to Avalon Television as an assistant producer on The Frank Skinner Show (ITV1) and then Parkinson (´óÏó´«Ã½ One).
Katie Taylor, Head of Entertainment and Events, says: "I couldn't be more delighted that Daisy will be joining us as Talent Executive to ensure we have the best possible line-up on the new series of Strictly and other celebrity-based programmes we have coming up. She'll be a brilliant addition to our team."
Daisy Moore says: "I have had a brilliant time at ITV Studios casting celebrities for the jungle but now I cannot wait to swap my camo gear for sequins and ballet pumps.
"I am very excited about this new challenge on such a successful and glamorous show. The last series was compelling TV, with amazing characters and such an incredibly high standard of dancing. I look forward to joining the team and creating another glittering series."
Daisy takes up her role on 14 March.
