Both Cardiff City and Swansea City face their next hurdles on the way to the Premiership and an estimated £90m in earnings up for grabs as they both face crucial two-leg Championship play-off semi-finals starting later this week. ´óÏó´«Ã½ Wales TV and radio will have comprehensive coverage of their progress as they aim for a place at that crucial Wembley play-off final on Monday 30 May.
The action kicks-off with the Swans away to Nottingham Forest in the first leg of their semi-final play-off on Thursday 12 May, with full live coverage on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Wales and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Cymru. Then on Friday 13 May, Cardiff take on Reading in the first leg of their semi-final play-off, also live on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Wales and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Cymru.
There will be extensive highlights of both games in a special Match Of The Day Wales programme presented by Jason Mohammad on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One Wales on Friday 13 May, from 11.20pm. Jason is joined at the Madjeski Stadium by former Wales and Norwich City striker Iwan Roberts and former Wales and Cardiff City striker Nathan Blake with expert analysis on the games.
Then on Monday 16 May, the second leg of Swansea’s semi-final at home to Nottingham Forest is live on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Wales and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Cymru, with highlights of the game on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One Wales in Match Of The Day Wales with Jason Mohammad from 11.35pm. Jason is joined at the Liberty Stadium by former Wales and Swansea City full-back Sam Ricketts with expert analysis on the game.
On Tuesday 17 May, Cardiff welcome Reading to the Cardiff City Stadium for the second leg of their semi-final play-off and there will be live coverage on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Wales and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Cymru. Highlights of both games can be seen on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One Wales in The Football League Show from 11.35pm.
