Cast announced for third series of EastEnders: E20

The Webby Award-winning EastEnders online spin off E20 returns on 20 September 2011. The show, which has had huge success with series one and two, is set to shake things up on The Square once again with a group of fresh, young faces.

The 15-part series, which has been commissioned via ´óÏó´«Ã½ Learning, will transmit on the EastEnders website (15x10 minute episodes) and on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three.

E20 prides itself on training new talent across every level, from actors to writers to production crew. This series sees EastEnders actors Charlie G Hawkins, Himesh Patel, Arinze Kene and Emer Kenny take pen to paper and write episodes for the show.

Deborah Sathe, Producer E20, says: "Following our international award success I am very excited to be filming our third series of E20. We have a brilliant new cast, some cracking storylines and our new E20 gang really give Walford a run for their money. E20 has come a long way since it started and I am excited about the audience watching series three!"

Bryan Kirkwood, Executive Producer EastEnders: E20, comments: "The cast of E20 series three are fantastic – vibrant, exciting and talented newcomers, who are set to make the next series of E20 the best yet."

The new faces, Ava, Donnie and Faith, are set to take The Square by storm. Ava and Donnie escape onto The Square after their bus crashes outside Walford. The two runaways quickly bump into Faith. Faith has been kicked out of her house by Grandma Grace after Grace returns home to find Faith bedding a Walford boy in her bedroom. This is the last straw for Grace, and Faith is told to go. Ava, Donnie and Faith form an unlikely gang and search for a place to hide. Things turn from bad to worse when the law catches up with the gang.

A behind-the-scenes video and profiles of the new characters are available on the .
