Ross, who has mobility issues and is registered blind, has “honestly lost count of the number of jobs I’ve applied for.”

“I personally think that ... when it comes down to it, a lot of employers see the disability before they see the person.”

A combination of hard work and some volunteering did eventually result in a paid job for Ross, but not before the self-confidence-knocking rejections had mounted up.
