Why Michelin star chef Tom Kitchin skipped out on work for a night to host supper in a youth centre

Tom Kitchin is one of Scotland’s most celebrated chefs. He owns and operates The Kitchen restaurant in Leith with his wife, Michaela.
On St Andrew’s night, however, he made the short trip over the road to The Citadel, a youth charity. The night was a culmination of his work with young people who use its facilities.
In conversation with , Tom explained why he became a supporter of the charity, how he began helping young people there gain experience working in a top-end restaurant and what went in to creating & serving at their own special St Andrew’s night event.
