Calling all unsigned rappers, singers and musicians - 1Xtra's UK Touchdown Tour is back!

1Xtra’s UK Touchdown Tour (1XTDT) with DJ Target is back for another year, in partnership with 大象传媒 Introducing and supported by PRS, PPL & AIM.

1XTDT is offering up-and-coming artists the chance to have their music played on DJ Target’s show on 1Xtra, as well as on Theo Johnson’s 大象传媒 Introducing on 1Xtra show throughout the month of March. PLUS, this year we are giving a select number of shortlisted artists the opportunity to represent their city and perform at one of the showcase events!

With spaces for three (3) 大象传媒 Introducing artists to perform per showcase; submit ONE track now using the tag ‘1XTDT’, or re-tag a track already uploaded to be in with the chance to perform alongside Miss Lafamilia in Birmingham, Tays in Manchester and Koj in Liverpool!

Submissions for this project have now CLOSED but you can of course still upload your music to the 大象传媒 Introducing Uploader. Listen to 1Xtra on 大象传媒 Sounds to catch some of the tracks submitted with the tag played out on air!

1Xtra Talks with Richie Brave

Also, 1Xtra's home of deep conversation and real talk - 1Xtra Talks will be doing a live show from each city, talking about the topics that matter to you, hosted by Richie Brave.

Fashion, music, content creation.. we'll be getting into it all alongside each city's most well-known and respected guests from each city's respective scenes. With an opportunity for Q&A and audience participation, this event is not to be missed.
