Things you should never ask celebrities
If you’ve ever dreamt of having a good old chinwag with your favourite famous type, you’ve probably imagined all the juicy chat you’d indulge in… but there are certain subjects you just shouldn’t broach. You want them to like you, don’t you?
So what exactly should you avoid talking about if you find yourself chatting with a celebrity? Here's a handy guide to save you some awkward situations.
Don't ask Tom Hiddleston about Taylor Swift
If you were listening to this morning, you might have been waiting for guest Tom Hiddleston to mention a certain female pop star during his interview with Nick Grimshaw.
But it took Tom more than six months to speak about his relationship with at all.
"A relationship exists between two people. We will always know what it was," he told GQ in February 2017.
"The narratives that are out there altogether have been extrapolated from pictures that were taken without consent or permission, with no context.
"Nobody had the context for that story. And I’m still trying to work out a way of having a personal life and protecting it, but also without hiding."
It was the first (and only) time he had spoken about the romance - and we imagine Tom will probably keep it that way.
Don't ask Drake about Rihanna
If Ellen can't get a guest to reveal their relationship status, you know they don't want to talk about it.
She tried to persuade to confirm whether he was dating in 2013 when he was a guest on her show.
"Great girl, we had our moment, I always support and have love for her," he said awkwardly during the interview.
He has revealed how much he loves Rihanna on several occasions but has never revealed the full extent of his feelings - and probably never will.
Don't ask Ed Sheeran about his scar
Now, the rumours go a bit like this: got the scar on his face during a party where Princess Eugene pretended to knight with a sword. But we'll never know what really happened if Ed keeps dodging the topic.
"I don't know if I can talk about that, you know," said Ed when he joined Scott Mills and Chris Stark in January to premiere his singles Castle On The Hill and Shape Of You.
He also revealed he has a pre-prepared alternative fact in case he was quizzed on the "rugged" looking mark on his cheek.
"I've been telling people it was James Blunt trying to get the pop career back. He actually told me to say that — I'm not being mean."
OK, we get it. We won't press the issue.

Don't ask Selena Gomez about Justin Bieber
Imagine if you were the most followed person on Instagram, had a hugely successful pop career and starred in several movies and all you ever got asked about was the boy you broke up with years ago.
has had questions about so often she's been quoted in several interviews asking not to be asked about her ex.
"Honestly, what I would love to be printed is that I am so beyond done with talking about that, and him," she told Rolling Stone in January 2016.
She said the same in 2015, but the message obviously didn't get passed on.
"I'm just tired of talking about it," she told InStyle the previous year. "I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story."
Don't ask Taylor Swift about Katy Perry
Everyone knows about the and feud right? Of course they do! But what do we really know? Not much at all.
I鈥檓 never going to talk about her in my interview. It鈥檚 not going to happenTaylor Swift
Aside from rumours and a handful of non-specific tweets, neither Taylor or Katy has even spoken about their relationship.
When Taylor was pressed on rivalries by The Telegraph in 2015, she gave nothing away.
"I’m not giving [the media] anything to write about," she said.
"I’m never going to talk about her in my interview. It’s not going to happen."
But she did suggest that the female in question was discussed among her close friends.
"I’m not nice all the time but I try not to be carelessly rude to people who don’t deserve it," she added.
"When I’m with my friends, we don’t say glowing things about everybody. We’re not sitting around going, 'You know who’s really special and wonderful?'
"That’s not what we talk about - we’re normal girlfriends."
Don't ask Perrie Edwards about Zayn Malik
Understandably, celebrities don't like talking about their failed relationships and Perrie Edwards from is no exception.
She famously split from (and now solo star) in August 2015 and she has never shared the details of their break up, although she has said Zayn ended their relationship by text message.
"I briefly mentioned it. I wasn't going to not mention it ... You're in control at the end of the day and I briefly mentioned it, kind of said what happened but I would never get into detail because it is personal," Perrie said during an interview on the Jonathan Ross Show.
"For a normal girl to go through something like that it's hard. I think when the whole world is looking at it and talking about it, you feel a bit [affected by it]."
