This year she’s – perhaps a wee glass of fizz in hand – welcoming in 2018 in the company of Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain, among other top musical talent.
But 18 years ago, while we were celebrating the arrival of the new millennium, was put the the test when she was dispatched to Britain’s most northerly inhabited island, Unst.
