Do your research and believe in yourself!

Let someone from the gym know about your health. How much you tell is down to you, but better to give detail if you are at higher risk. - Take a tour
If you have a visual impairment like Sannah, it can take longer to be familiarise yourself with the facilities or where the changing rooms are. - Get organised
Arriving early is sensible in case there are any changes to the timetable or new instructors to whom you should introduce yourself. - Don’t be a hero
Work out responsibly and not competitively. If you’re not used to working out, you need to ease yourself into it. - Believe in yourself
Many organisations and charities acknowledge the importance of people with disabilities taking part in sports for both their mental and physical health.
