‘Not speaking until I was 6 years old helped me become an artist’

1 August 2018

Bronwyn Gilgallon is an artist from Glasgow.

She has a language and communication disorder that meant she didn’t speak until she was six years old. Instead, she picked up a pencil and started drawing. It helped her overcome her disability and, over time, find her voice.

Drawing With Bronwyn aka Planet B | Into It

Bronwyn found drawing was an easier way to communicate with people.
