THREE 2024 Carleton Hobbs bursaries have been awarded to:

ANDI BICKERS (Italia Conti)
NUHAZET DIAZ CANO (Bristol Old Vic Theatre School)
SHREYA LALLU (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire)

They will join the Radio Drama Company on Saturday 20th July 2024.

Four finalists receive runners-up awards - and we hope each of them will be cast as a freelance actor in one of our autumn/winter productions:

RABI KONDÉ (Italia Conti)
CAITLIN MCEWAN (RADA)
BETHANY WOODING (Guildhall School of Music and Drama)
ERIN KILLINGRAY (Drama Studio London)

The event this year was arranged in two Stages. In Stage One, nineteen accredited Drama schools and colleges took part - a total of 74 students. And of those, fourteen Colleges advanced to Stage Two with a pair of students each – a total of 28 students.

Chaired by Anne Isger, Producer Audio Drama London, the judges comprised actor Joseph Kloska and agent Andy Herrity.

Many congratulations to all finalists and especially to Andi, Nuhazet and Shreya with whom we look forward to working in the summer.

The quality of work on show this year cannot be under-estimated, and we’d like to make special mention of four other actors who made it to a place on our final longlist and whose work we also much admired and enjoyed. They are:
