10 reasons why you need to watch Asian Network Live

WHAT. A. NIGHT. Incredible performances, amazing crowd, loads of surprises. Here are just 10 reasons why you need to ...

1. You'll get to see the first ever UK performances by Badshah and Divine

Not only was this the first Asian Network Live, it also saw the debut UK appearances by Indian rappers Badshah (above) and Divine, both of whom were superb. Here's a quick peek at Divine, performing his breakthrough autobiographical track Jungli Sher:

2. The atmosphere was insane

...and not just as the night went on. Here's what Raxstar, who opened the show, had to say:

3. Two words: Kanika Kapoor

4. There were plenty of surprise collaborations

Kanika was Sam Smith for the night, singing La La La with Naughty Boy, whose main collaborator for the night was Shezar. Her performance of Runnin' (Lose It All) - originally sung by Beyoncé - was stunning.

Also brilliant was Raxstar, who made his second appearance of the night tearing through a track with Badshah (below). And more than notable mentions go to TOWIE's Jasmin Walia with Zack Knight, and FUSE ODG, who brought on Zack Knight and Badshah.

5. The Bhavan dancers, who performed with headliner Naughty Boy

6. Speaking of dancing, here's Tommy (!?)...

7. Paul Chowdhry's Fire In The Booth

Yup, you read that right. 1Xtra's Charlie Sloth had none other than Paul Chowdhry in the booth. Here's a teaser:

8. Unexpected cover versions

Arjun played versions of both Drake's Hold On, We're Going Home and Justin Bieber's Love Yourself at the beginning of the night.

Later, this happened: Preeya Kalidas covered Daft Punk's Get Lucky with Naughty Boy.

9. All the star presenters

All our presenters, obvs! But also... Nitin Ganatra (Eastenders' Masood Ahmed), shot backstage (below).

10. Because, well, it was AMAZING
