EMS Air Ambulance
We heard from Watchdog viewers whose family members were seriously ill overseas which led to them paying for repatriation, through EMS Air Ambulance. However their ill loved ones’ health deteriorated and they passed away before they were able to return home. Those families were then left without a refund and they felt completely let down by EMS.
We contacted EMS Air Ambulance and it said it is the largest global medical repatriation company in the world, operating in over 136 countries and delivering thousands of successful repatriations since 2022. It said it prides itself on its expertise in the medical repatriation field and the level of service it offers its patients. EMS went onto say that it did its utmost to repatriate Mr Brisci and Mr Houston's loved ones and understand the disappointment they feel that the deterioration in their family members’ health and subsequent passing meant that the repatriations could not be completed. It said it extends its deepest sympathies to Mr Brisci and Mr Houst.
