This footage from the tip of the British Isles will soothe your soul
21 January 2019
Dry January. Resolutions. Trying to find your gloves.
The stresses and strains of a new year are all too real. But there’s one part of the country where things operate on a very different level: Shetland.
Nestling under the Northern Lights, as far North as it’s possible to go on British soil, you will find the gannetry of Hermaness: a city of birds. In this short section from a brand new hour-long documentary full of stunning Shetland scenery and wildlife, Ewan McGregor introduces us to a very different side of the British Isles. It might just be an antidote for the January blues.
