´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 1Xtra is teaming up with RJC Dance & Phoenix Dance Theatre to host a very special 1Xtra live dance workshop. You’ll be dancing to some grime, hip hop and dancehall, learning the dance routine that will be performed at ACTUAL 1Xtra live on 17th October! NB This isn’t an audition to perform at 1Xtra Live! All levels welcome – you don’t need to be a dancer but you’ll need to be fit! Under 16’s will need a chaperone. Admission strictly by ticket only. ID may be required. The award winning broadcaster and international DJ David Rodigan will be taking part in a very special Q&A hosted by ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 1Xtra’s afternoon presenter A.Dot. Come along to hear how Rodigan has established a career for over 30 years in radio. He’ll be sharing his advice on working in the music industry, offering presenting tips and playing some of his favourite reggae tracks. If you’re an artist bring along your music! Come along to hear how you can make music a business – with contributions from 1Xtra, PRS, Pluggers, Managers and some special performances, you’ll hear advice on everything from getting your music played on air to claiming royalties.
