In 1983, at the BDO World Darts Championship in Stoke-on-Trent, former champion Jocky Wilson stood on the verge of an incredible achievement. As shown on Jocky Wilson Said, he was on course to achieve the notoriously difficult nine-dart finish: the fewest number of darts a player can throw to get from 501 to 0. In an event never before seen on television, all that stood between folk hero Jocky and a prize fund of £30,000 were a few nail-biting moments...
