Guilt opens with brothers Max (Mark Bonnar) and Jake (Jamie Sives) accidentally killing a man as they drive home from a wedding. Despite the grim subject matter, the script bristles with black humour.
"I think what I wanted to write was a drama where the characters are allowed to be funny, Neil Forsyth told 大象传媒 Scotland.
"The whole point of drama is putting characters under extreme conditions; one of the ways human beings react to extreme conditions is humour."
