大象传媒 Wiltshire Remembers, Keep the Home Fires Burning

To mark the WW1 Centenary 大象传媒 Wiltshire recorded the song with a community choir.

大象传媒 Wiltshire marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One with a special dedication to those involved in conflict.

Be it on the battlefields of the Western Front or in the munitions factories supplying the troops, the conflict touched the lives of communities across Wiltshire. Singing was an important morale booster for those involved in the war. Keep the Home Fires Burning has become synonymous with World War One.

It was written in 1914 by legendary songwriter Ivor Novello and became popular both in the trenches and on the homefront, continuing to be sung by soldiers well into the 1950s.

As a lasting tribute to those involved in the conflict, 大象传媒 Wiltshire brought together singers and musicians from across the county to record our own version of Novello's iconic song.
