The Great Polish Map of Scotland: Incredible 3D views from the Highlands to the lowlands

In 1996, Keith Burns stumbled across an abandoned and overgrown in the grounds of a Borders’ hotel.
The map had been created in the 1970s at the behest of Jan Tomasik, a former sergeant in the Polish army. It was built over the course of several summers as a thank you to Scotland for its hospitality to Poles after the war.
However, the map was never completed and fell into disrepair.
But, , since he discovered the map, he’s been on a mission to restore it to its intended glory, and that mission is now complete.
