Severe cases of stress can cause hair loss in both men and women. In an interview with Look magazine, ’s Jesy Nelson revealed, “I had alopecia when I was 13, brought on by stress from bullying – that’s why I love my big hair now.”
Cara Delevingne鈥檚 psoriasis
At the height of her catwalk fame, before moving into acting, Cara suffered from painful stress-triggered psoriasis. The itchy, flaky skin condition was often covered in make-up for modelling jobs, with Cara telling The Times, “People would put on gloves and not want to touch me because they thought it was, like, leprosy or something.
“It wasn't a good time, I was, like, fight and flight for months. Just constantly on edge. It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse.”

Cara isn’t the only celeb psoriasis sufferer, with Kim Kardashian often speaking about hers on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and revealing it had worsened since her horrifying heist ordeal in Paris last year.
On her app, Kim wrote, “Everyone with psoriasis has different symptoms; sometimes the rashes are itchy, sometimes they're flaky. Mine flares up from time to time for different reasons. I'm always hoping for a cure, of course, but in the meantime, I'm learning to just accept it as part of who I am.”
Emma Stone鈥檚 acne

Speaking to Refinery 29 back in 2012, Oscar winner Emma revealed, “I had stress acne when I was 20, when I did Easy A, which they kindly video-airbrushed out of the movie.
"Usually, I use tea tree oil [when I get spots]. I can't go too crazy, or I'll get a rash. My skin is really sensitive. Whenever it's been really bad, I've gone to the dermatologist to get those cortisone shots.”
Mayim Bialik鈥檚 migraines
The Big Bang Theory star spoke to health website Lifescript about the migraines that run in her family, which she managed to avoid until she began studying for her PhD in neuroscience.
“My eight first cousins, two aunts, my mom and I have them,” said Mayim. “I was one of the last holdouts, the last female to not have them. Then, when I was in college, [the migraines] were triggered by the stress of school and studying.”
Mayim says she tends to “sleep the migraine pain off”, but also turns to essential oils and ibuprofen if she has to go to work.
