´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live: ‘In My Opinion’ World Cup

Between the 11th and 15th November 2024 and on the 18th and 19th November 2024, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live Breakfast will ask you to cast a vote for the ‘In My Opinion’ World Cup. To take part in the ‘In My Opinion’ World Cup you should listen carefully to the announcements given out on air.

Opening and closing times for each round of voting along with how to cast your vote and when the result will be announced on air.

Please be aware that each vote may only be open for a short period of time and that votes cast outside the announced times will not be counted but will still be charged. Please listen carefully to announcements, instructions and opening and closing times given out on air.

Terms & Conditions

1. Listeners can take part in the vote by sending a text message to 85058, following the instructions given out on air. Texts will be charged at your standard message rate. Please ask the bill payer’s permission before voting and consult with your network provider if you are unable to text short codes.

2. Only one vote per listener per round of voting will be permitted – one vote per mobile phone number. Any further votes will not count but you will still be charged. Listeners cannot vote by any other method, unless stated otherwise on air.

3. The vote opening and closing times will be announced on air. Any votes registered outside the announced voting times will not count but you will still be charged. The final winning ‘In My Opinion’ will be announced on ´óÏó´«Ã½ 5Live Breakfast on the 19th November 2024.

4. This is not a competition and there will be no prize for participation in the vote.

5. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ reserves the right to disqualify entries or suspend voting if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ has the right to substitute an alternative selection method at its absolute discretion.

6. If, for any reason, there is a technical problem with the voting, the vote may be suspended or a contingency plan may be actioned.

7. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend this vote at any time.

8. The ´óÏó´«Ã½, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.

9. Any ´óÏó´«Ã½ staff members or their close relatives, or anyone who is directly connected in any way with the production are not eligible to vote.
