A Passion for Hospitality
Lent resources for individuals and groups complementing ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 4’s Sunday Worship and Daily Service
Why hospitality?
Hospitality towards strangers and those in need is a defining feature of the Christian life.
However it is not straightforward. The theme runs through the bible and provides a clear call to love and welcome others. But from childhood we are primed to fear strangers, our divided communities reinforce the cultural barriers and the global pandemic has forced us to keep our distance. We have spent much of the last two years closing our doors to others. This Lent we are encouraged to consider the quality and nature of the welcome we offer to neighbour, friend and stranger alike.
