The tough-talking GP who leaves shocked patients 'laid bare'
‘Give it to me straight, doc’ they used to say in old black and white movies. Well in this programme, they do!
Dr Punam Krishan is a GP and lifestyle medicine expert whose own experiences with poor health have taught her to take self-care very seriously.
In new ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scotland TV series Laid Bare, volunteer patients allow their bodies to be rigorously assessed by medics before being confronted by Dr Krishan with the stark reality of their future health.
"I don't get to see this often", she says, "When I see them, they've [already] got the disease."
After being "laid bare" a tailor-made plan will help them reverse the damage they've done.
In this clip, Johan, a chef and father of five kids, is given the truth about his results in no uncertain terms.
