Are these two young presenters the new David Attenborough?

David Attenborough is a national treasure – fact. There are, however, a new breed of people who also want to showcase their passion for the natural world.

Roaming in the Wild's Andrew O'Donnell and Mark Taylor are a down-to-earth duo who couple their exploring of the wilds of Scotland with capturing footage of the "little characters" who call the rugged landscapes home.

The most northerly point on mainland Scotland

Andrew and Mark take a trip to Dunnet Head and ponder the wisdom of puffins

Dunnet Head is latest area of Scotland to be visited by the plucky pair – travelling the north of Scotland on a tandem bike for their sins.

Being the most-northerly point in Britain – a further two miles north of John O'Groats – Dunnet Head has the magnificent landscape that is home to a multitude of eye-catching wildlife:

"It’s a rugged place where seabirds rule the cliffs and sky."

As well as capturing stunning shots, Andrew and Mark's down-to-earth commentary expertly paints a picture of the scenery:

"It’s the little characters who call the cliffs home that make it such a special place – puffins."

The humorous voiceover gives you a real sense of being in the moment with the two friends watching the wildlife in front of them:

"I think there’s something very noble and wise about them. I reckon if you could chat with a puffin they would probably tell you quite important things… wise little creatures.”

Enjoyable conversation coupled with beautifully shot footage may be the elements that will allow Andrew and Mark to stake a claim as being your new favourite presenters showcasing the natural world.

Andrew and Mark touring Scotland on a tandem bike... probably not something David Attenborough would do!
