Fleeing Syria: Salih waded through sewers, slept rough and was even jailed before he reached safety in Scotland

Graphic designer Salih escaped his war-torn home and embarked on an incredible year-long journey through fourteen different countries.
Now settled in Scotland, he has designed a tattoo featuring the obstacles he faced as a permanent reminder of his struggle to feel safe.
