Each week, Muslim chaplain Ishfaq Mohammed transforms HMP Edinburgh’s Christian chapel into a musalla for Friday prayers.
Many inmates find faith while serving in prison and Ishfaq knows that making the reasons for faith and prayer clear in prisoners’ minds is an important part of reform.
He takes great care to respect the ordained parts of the Christian chapel.
