Rockstar’s realism-vs-fun balancing act: a peek behind the curtain at Scotland’s game-changing entertainment pioneers

Rockstar Games are a big deal.
Their Grand Theft Auto game is a six-billion-dollar entertainment product, leaving everything else – including films and television – in the dust. And their new game, Red Dead Redemption 2, is so big its creation was spread across nine different studios in four countries.
Rockstar North, born in Dundee and now in Edinburgh, is the largest of the studios that worked on the game. Here’s a wee look inside:-
