From Govan to Gucci: The rise of Scotland鈥檚 most sought-after male model

For Connor Newall, seeing a massive version of yourself on the side of a building in Milan is just the sort thing that happens.

In a lot of ways, Connor’s just an average guy from Govan: he’s a big Rangers fan and his Dad works in the shipyards.

But his life changed when a casting agent came to his school looking for teenagers to appear in .

The agent sent his picture over to Model Team, an agency based in the west-end of Glasgow.

Within hours, they signed Connor up and, by the following day, . Fashion labels and photographers soon saw his appeal.

It wasn’t just the British fashion world that wanted a piece of Connor, though. He quickly started getting booked for jobs abroad where he found himself rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s biggest celebrities.

It would be easy to get starstruck when taking selfies with the stars. But when Connor’s back in Glasgow his family and ‘mother agent’ Michael O’Brien make sure his feet stay on the ground.
