So bad is Rachel's truancy habit that her eight month pregnant mother has to sit guarding the school exit to make sure she doesn't leave the premises. But when her mother goes into labour Rachel is suddenly left unchaperoned. Meanwhile best friends Dana and Dawn are facing up to the fact that it's all going to be very different when they leave school.
