Jonathan Ross continues his exploration of all things Japanese.
Japanese Pop Art is arguably the most popular and influential art movement in the world today. Jonathan visits the two acknowledged J-Art masters: Takashi Murakami and Yoshitomo Nara, with Murakami overseeing the completion of a massive work at his studio on the Tokyo outskirts.
Jonathan also receives a visit from an old mate, Japan鈥檚 comedy sensation Hard Gay, who turns out also to be a wild and inventive artist. Plus there are the creators of new cool toy-art: Bounty Hunter, Secret Base and the Bearbrick. Plus, Jonathan butters up the performance artist Toast Girl, battles with the Paper Robot Man, and looks at Japan鈥檚 godfather of psychedelic art.
