Scientists imagine the world 100 million years into the future. Antartica has become a hothouse and home to creatures such as Roachcutters and Falconflies.
Documentary series in which scientists discuss what the world may be like in the future and examine the creatures that they believe will inhabit the Earth. 100 million years in the future, volcanoes belching out greenhouse gases have made Earth into a hothouse. Antarctica has been pulled north and now lies in the tropics. Scientists, with the help of state-of-the-art animation, bring to life Roachcutters, Falconflies and Spitfire beetles.
