Jane Horrocks's family history is rooted in Lancashire - three generations of her family lived in the same street in Rawtenstall. Her ancestors form part of the town's cotton-weaving heritage, and Jane's search focuses on the strong women in the family, particularly her great-grandmother Sarah. She also uncovers some unknown relatives, and identifies the mysterious black sheep of the family.
