When the wealthy and attractive Sherry Judd comes to him for help, Monk has a flashback to when they were both in eighth grade and Sherry was framed by a bullying classmate. This time Sherry's house has been broken into, a painting of her great-grandmother defaced, and her housekeeper murdered.
