A team of detectives solve seemingly impossible crimes. A scientist is convinced that leaks from a local chemicals plant are responsible for an increase in childhood asthma. He is about to sell his story to a national newspaper when he receives a frightening and anonymous threat to keep quiet. The team have to track down the culprit.
