Documentary series about the world's first centre to provide respite and end-of-life care for children with life-shortening conditions, set up in 1982 by the visionary Sister Frances Dominica.

Tina Bough confronts difficult memories when she returns for the first time to the chilled bedroom in Helen House where her son Jack stayed until his funeral. The team help as Tina's daughter, who has the same life-shortening condition, begins to deteriorate. And Nick Wallis finally discovers if Helen House will help him find a sex worker.
