Chef/restaurateur John Torode and vegetable guru Gregg Wallace look for the country's next star chef. The four heat winners must design an exceptional three-course meal that will impress the judges. But before that they must prove they have knowledge of and a passion for food, and a genuine commitment to changing their lives in favour of a foodie future.
