Children's comedy drama about Patrick, a 12-year-old kid who sets out to build a rocket for a school competition. Patrick's money problems are getting worse by the day but others on Dragglesham estate are also down on their luck. Frank Peabody has opened a pawnshop to benefit from everyone else's misfortune. Patrick decides to put Mum's housekeeping money on a horse called Pegasus. If it wins, everybody's troubles are over. By placing the bet Patrick's troubles are only beginning.
