Series in which oenophile Oz Clarke takes wine novice James May on a on a month's trip to France to learn all about the grape. In Languedoc-Roussillon, Oz wants James to learn how wine is made. They start with a harvest at a hillside vineyard owned by Matassa wine. After picking the grapes and squashing them by foot they go to the village of St Anne where Oz's brother John lives. After falling out with each other, Oz and James finally get to sample the local farmers' homemade rustic reds.
