Hazel Irvine is at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall for an early-season chance to see some of the world's finest athletes in action in the Norwich Union International.
Britain's best face some stiff competition from athletics powers like the United States, Germany and Sweden while there is also a Commonwealth Select team in contention. Former Olympic champions Allen Johnson and Bernard Lagat will compete for the USA, with world high-jump champion Kajsa Bergqvist pledging to break her own stadium record when she appears for Sweden.
