Documentary series which follows eight single men from Devon who try to begin relationships with eight single women from Scotland.

After a night spent camping out under the stars, the men and women set off on the last day of their road trip and it's not long before rumours start spreading about some late night activity in one of the tents. The four double dates spread across the Devon countryside, can only guess what might have happened between estate manager John and 39 year old Jane.

In the meantime, single dad Paul gets up close with care worker Vanessa over a potters wheel - leaving her declaring marriage is now on the cards. The older gentlemen of the group - Nigel and Stuart - take their dates to Dartmouth to enjoy a gentle afternoon of crabbing. But as one of the women is a committed Vegetarian, things don't turn out quite as relaxed as the men had hoped.

For the women's final night in Devon, the men have organised a traditional barn dance to say farewell. It's been an intensive two weeks in each others company and everyone finds it difficult to say goodbye.
