The Tartan Army travel to Bari for this crucial Group B match, hoping to take another step towards qualification for the European Championship Finals next year.
Dougie Donnelly presents from the Stadio San Nicola, Bari, as The Tartan Army travel to south east Italy for this crucial Group B match, hoping to take another step towards qualification for the European Championship Finals in Austria/Switzerland 2008.
Scotland started the campaign in great style under the guidance of manager Walter Smith, including a memorable victory over France at Hampden which helped to hoist them to the top of the table. However Smith resigned in controversial circumstances earlier this year to return to club management at Rangers. In an ironic twist, he was replaced by former Ibrox boss Alex McLeish. Meanwhile, World Champions Italy have a had lukewarm start to their campaign as the Italian game has been thrown into crisis by a series of scandals off the park. Analysis from Gordon Smith and Pat Nevin. Paul Mitchell and Ian McCall are in the commentary box.
