Series in which candidates compete for the position of apprentice to multi-millionaire Alan Sugar. The candidates have one day to buy ten items from a list for the least money possible, and get back to the boardroom by 6pm. The task is about negotiation, but Alan has thrown a tricky item into the list to put their research skills to the test too. Simon gets his first outing as project manager, but his erratic behaviour upsets his team. On the other team, Adam has to manage his nemesis, Katie.
