In this programme, Trevor Fishlock tells the story of the priceless, irreplaceable Black Book of Carmarthen. Locked in a maximum security chamber in a cool, controlled atmosphere, away from daylight, this senior manuscript book of Wales is the oldest gathering of Welsh poetry, written more than 750 years ago. Trevor tells the tale of its remarkable survival.
