Assembled from members of the Passions, the Imaginations, the Fascinators and the 5 Sharks, The Legends of Doo Wop perform songs recorded by their individual groups and famous harmony hits from the era. Their stories and memories conjure up an innocent age of romantic songs, singing out on the stoop or looking for an echo in the subway and the fledgling New York record business of the fifties. The Legends recorded an exclusive doo wop style jingle for this series, which first broadcast in August 2005.
