Fiji ended New Zealand's six-year reign last season and boast this year's top points scorer in William Ryder. The Fijians began with a ten-point lead in the overall standings over Pacific rivals Samoa. But with 20 points awarded to the winners of each tournament, Samoa and New Zealand will be determined to close the gap ahead of the series finale in Edinburgh.
England reached the semi-finals in the first two tournaments, in Dubai and South Africa, but have since slipped to a distant fifth overall. But they are still the top-ranked European side and capable of putting on a show in front of their home fans.
