Alice reaches breaking point at Home Farm.

When Ruth realises how David's feeling about Gray, she wants to reassure him that there's nothing to worry about. David's really pleased to hear that Ruth won't be doing the farmers' markets with Gray.

Brian tries to get Alice involved with Ruairi but they end up rowing. Brian pours out his grief to David, admitting he'd always love Siobhan.

Jennifer tries to arrange a day out but Alice thinks she's trying to bribe her. Jennifer's hurt when Alice says it's too late to put things right. Alice won't accept Brian's apology - she'd rather he didn't say anything. As Ruairi fiddles with Alice's mp3 player, she accidentally knocks him against a cupboard, making him cry. Alice insists she didn't mean it but Brian snaps and tells her he's ashamed of her, accusing her of doing it on purpose, Alice runs out sobbing. Jennifer wishes he hadn't been so harsh, but Brian insists Alice was completely over the mark.

With Ruairi settled, Jennifer insists they can't go on like this, but Brian still thinks it's Alice who needs to change her behaviour. They don't realise Alice has just arranged to move in with Amy. As the front door slams shut, Jennifer goes running after her.
