Journalist Carol Thatcher visits the Falkland Islands to meet the Black-browed Albatross. She discovers that these long-distance flyers mate for life and travel hundreds of miles in search of a meal. However, an estimated 100,000 albatross are being caught and drowned on fishing hooks every year, and at this rate they're headed for extinction.
